1992 32' Intrepid Upholstery
This updated 32' Intrepid was literally refinished and completely redone from the inside out. So why not update the upholstery!! The old vinyl from the leaning post and forward console seat have been updated with premium vinyl and sewn with Gore Tenara lifetime thread. The simple design closely resembles the original vinyl covering making it very easy to hose off and clean from a long day of sail fishing!!

Original forward console seat and backrest.
Original vinyl skin from the forward console seat and backrest. Stitching has deteriorated. Thankfully the foam was in really good shape.

Forward console backrest and seat with new marine grade vinyl skin. The owner wanted the new skin to resemble the original design which makes it super simple to maintain and clean.

Original leaning post seat frame.
Check this out, upon removal of the leaning post seat and its original vinyl this is what I found. The signature of the person who originally designed and made the aluminum form for the seat. The plywood was completely rotted and waterlogged. So the plywood and foam will be replaced as well.

New starboard frame.
Leaning post plywood substrate removed and replaced with starboard then bolted through into the original aluminum form.

The finished leaning post and backrest vinyl covering ready to be installed. Note the mesh vent at the bottom edge of the backrest to allow proper drying of the foam.
